Founded in 2019, Heron Engineering Consultancy Ltd is a North-East based company offering professional engineering services.

Its founder Chris is a well-presented, highly motivated Chartered Professional Civil/Structural Engineer with over fifteen years experience in heavy Civil & Structural Engineering design and construction. Chris has significant brownfield design experience and excels in the creation, implementation and management of cost-effective design solutions with a strong focus on safety.

Chris has worked on major projects in the UK, Australia and Malaysia and has experience in all project stages from front-end engineering design to detailed design through to construction and project handover. His experience in drafting, site supervision and project engineering affords Chris the ability to view projects from a Design, Engineering and Construction perspective.
